"The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Caillerets 1er Cru shows a touch of reduction on the nose, but it possesses the most complex aromatics and mineralité of the six whites that I tasted from the appellation at Jadot. The most nuanced and tensile of the Chassagnes, this has a well-balanced palate with fine acidity and a satisfying long tail on the finish. Excellent."

"The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Cailleret (Maison Louis Jadot) is excellent, unwinding in the glass with a gently reductive bouquet of citrus zest, white peach and nutmeg. Medium to full-bodied, pure and satiny, it's elegantly textural and precise, concluding with a saline finish."
