"Ripe yet cool and attractively layered aromas include those of various red berries, spice and pungent earth nuances. The rich, punchy and delineated middle weight flavors are not particularly concentrated though they are solidly powerful on the dusty, firmly austere and very much built-to-age finale. Fine quality here in a built-to-age package yet I would underscore that this isn't so backward that it couldn't be enjoyed after only 5 to 7 years of cellaring."
