Ratings:

93-94 James Suckling

"A medium-bodied red that starts off beautifully, with attractive currant and berry character, as well as black olive and violet. Fresh and vivid."

91-94 Jeb Dunnuck

"The 2021 Château Feytit-Clinet comes from a 6.68-hectare vineyard located between Trotanoy and Latour a Pomerol, not far from Clinet. Based on 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc that will spend 16 months in 70% new barrels, it offers a round, fleshy, medium to full-bodied style that brings plenty of mid-palate depth, ripe tannins, and ample darker, blue fruits as well as some classic Pomerol earthy and floral nuances. It's beautifully done and certainly offers more pleasure and opulence than most out there. Tasted twice."

90-92 Antonio Galloni for Vinous

"The 2021 Feytit-Clinet is a relatively soft, easygoing wine for a Pomerol that tends to be both brooding and explosive. Crushed red berry fruit, rose petal, spice and lavender are nicely pushed forward. Today, my impression is that the 2021 will be a wine to drink on the younger side, while some of the more important vintages mature in the cellar. Incidentally, a recent bottle of the 2009 was both fabulous and very young."

90-92+ Wine Advocate

"Rich and muscular, the 2021 Feytit Clinet offers up aromas of cassis, blackberries, violets and toasty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered, it's a generous, structured Pomerol built around powdery tannins and lively acids"

92 Decanter

"So much aromatic complexity on the nose here, full of dried flowers, herbs and exotic spices as well as fruit. Very floral and absolutely beguiling. Quite a dark profile on the palate, with sweet black liquorice and soft clove to the fore giving a savoury tone rather than overt fruitiness at this point, but excellent texture and overall weight. You get the Pomerol power but also seductive qualities. I really like this. Michel Rolland consultancy"
